Vila Dias is near to the São Rafael villa estate, 2 miles west of Albufeira. It enjoys sea views, and is just half a mile from two cove beaches, each with a snack bar. Two restaurants and a mini-market are also within walking distance of the villa.

Two beaches, Praia de Arifas and Praia de Sao Rafael are in walking distance.

Praia De Sao Rafael
The first pretty cove beach of note to the west of Albufeira, Sao Rafael combines sand and rock in good proportion. There is plenty of room for football on the beach or spend time exploring the rocky headlands.

Deckchairs and sun umbrellas are in plentiful supply and the sea offers good swimming and snorkelling. A beach bar serves drinks and snacks, and pretty boats bob around the rocky outcrops just offshore.

The beach is accessible from the EN 125 just west of Albufeira and parking is good.
